HAIR & MAKE-UP PREPARATION
It is crucial to have proper hair and make-up done for your photo shoot as it has a profound impact on the results. If you do it yourself, it will be best to apply heavier make-up than usual and to avoid shiny or sparkling products since they will reflect the strong lighting we use. Eye lashes look especially good for boudoir pictures. Nevertheless, we recommend having your make-up done by a professional and virtually all of our clients agree that it makes a significant difference in the final product. We do not offer professional make-up services at the studio currently, but we refer our clients to make-up artists in the vicinity.
Hairstyle: The best look for a boudoir session is having your hair open and free-flowing. Light falling out curls are a great style and desirable. Clip-in extensions, hairpieces, and even wigs can be a great way to glam-up your hairstyle.
Make-up: Smokey eyes is not the look for everyone. You might want to choose darker shades of brown tones or light to darker grays blended. A good make-up artist will be able to find the right style for you.
