WHAT TO WEAR FOR YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTO SHOOT?
Come to the session in loose fitting clothing so you don't have marks on your body from tight clothing. If you like to save time, you can already wear your first outfit. Avoid wearing sandals to keep your feet clean for bare foot shots.
Bring a minimum of 3-4 outfit changes. No worries the photographer can help you choose or put your outfits together if you not sure which ones to pick.
Here are some suggestions on outfits:
Bring a black or nude thong in case you would like to do a implied nude look. No outfit can be the best outfit. Some of our favorite images are taken when the close came off and simply covered up with a white sheet, towel, pillow, or a prop (sheets & furs provided in studio).
A pair of panties and bra set or a bodysuit is a favorable. A simple white tank top can be super cute!
Don't wear anything that is too small and digs into your body or creates the dreaded “muffin top.” Consider normal clothing if you’re nervous about being too revealing, such as off the shoulder tees, jeans, tank-tops, a fitted button-up shirt, a pencil skirt, or a fitted v-neck t-shirt. Many of these items can be paired with cute undergarments to make a very sexy outfit.
Although it can be nice to have one really elaborate piece of lingerie, we can create stunning images with the items you already have in your closet. We love to show your personality!
Lingerie, bodysuit, vintage slip, teddy and/or camisole always photograph well. Corsets with thigh high stockings, a garter belt, and heels are super sexy too.
If this is a gift for your partner then bring something from his wardrobe. This can be one of his favorite ties, or a button down shirt. Anything that makes the images more personal and sexy to him! It also adds variety to your collection of outfits and will look great in the final album.
Load up on accessories, pearls, long necklaces, jewelry, hats, fishnets or sheer black hose, and most importantly cute shoes! High heels are a must at least with two of your outfits! If you have any other questions about what to bring or how to prepare for your session, please let us know and we will be happy to help! We want you to feel completely comfortable on your shoot.
So feel free to bring something special as well as props. Don't be afraid to have fun!
